I have a very good friend named Kevin who signed up here a few years ago. He posts hereon occasion, but mainly lurks these days. In a lot of ways he might s well be my borther in all but blood. He knows my family very, very well and they consider him family as well.
His father just passed away from cancer,and I would appreciate it if you would keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
I know a lot of FL Hatrackers have met Kevin, as he lives in Kissimmee, and he has really enjoyed meeting a lot of you. He still looks in, although he doesn't post often, but I know he would appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

I'll be thinking of him, Kwea (and of you too. Were you close to his father?). What is his screen name when he posts here?

It's been at least a year since he posted here, I don;t remember what his screen name was to be honest.
I really liked his dad, but his parents lived on the other side of the state when I lived in MA, so I wouldn't say I was close to him by any means. However, Kevin's family was is great, and I did go over there for 2-3 Christmas', and they were friendly and very welcoming to me.
I probably met him 8-9 times, but I really liked him.
My thoughts and prayers are with Kevin and his family today, as the viewing is today and the burial tomorrow. If I could have been there I would be, but I simply can't miss the school at this point.
