I have Fedora 10 i386 up and running. I am doing some stuff with bridges and interfaces. I accidentally edited /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 and added BRIDGE=ltsp0 and saved it.

I then did ifeth0 down and ifeth0 up before I realized I should of put in BRIDGE=ltspbr0. I missed putting in the "br"

Arggghhh

I have since corrected that mistake, however I can't unbind eth0 from ltsp0 so I can rebind it to ltspbr0!

Everytime I do eth0 down and up I get "device eth0 is already a member of a bridge; can't enslave it to bridge ltspbr0"

Does anyone know a command I can use to undo eth0 interface from ltsp0? THanks!!!!!!!

I got it figured out. Since I had already edited the file correctly, I just did ifdown eth0 and rebooted. When I logged on I did an ifup eth0 and everything was fine.

Works like a charm.

I will delete this in a few hours if it doesn't garner many posts. I guess there never was a specific terminal command to do what I wanted, and that is why Googlefu did not work.

When all else fails: reboot. Works for so many things it's not even funny. Especially when you're messing with configuration type stuff.
