I need a new router. I have an old wireless G one, and it is giving me trouble. I am interested in a cheap....as in inexpensive....wireless N router. I live in a 1100 sq ft apartment, so any should do, as long as it is reliable.
Any suggestions? Either for a specific one, or suggestions for me to avoid?

My Netgear WNDA3100 seems to be working great. I pick up like 8 different networks, and there are only 4 other apartments in this building, which means I'm picking up networks from surrounding buildings. It's definitely powerful.

I'd recommend looking at reviews on NewEgg. I haven't needed to get a new router for a while- the Dynex Wireless-G one I have works fine- but I've been struggling with different brands of adapter, including one from Dynex that was a huge hassle. The conclusion I've been coming to on the Wi-Fi adapter market is that most of the mass-market hardware offered in places like Target and Office Max is overpriced, unreliable, and under-supported.
Having struggled with the three or so brands offered in the major stores, I now have an adapter from a little company called TP-Link and my wife is using one from Rosewill. Both got four-plus stars on average in NewEgg's reviews; both have been far more reliable, thus far, than what they replaced. TP-Link particularly impressed me by answering a negative review with information on what might be causing the complaintant's problems and how they might be addressed.
...And the TP-Link adapter cost half of what the product it replaced had.
As I said, my Dynex router has been working fine, but if I had it to do over again, I'd rather go with one of the smaller companies that still has to fight for its reputation.

I have a HP wireless printer, and it says (and my router says) it is hooked up to the network, but my laptop can't find it anywhere. Turns out the router I bought in the first place, the one I want to replace, IS wireless-N.
It's a D-Link Dir-615, and it sucks. It boots my laptop off at least every other day, and sometimes my PS3 as well. I have to unplug it and plug it back in at least 4 times a week, sometimes more than once in one day.
