is very fun! I just want to play with it. Kept trying to click it to see what it was commemorating but looks like it's just there for whimsy!

It's HTML5/CSS3, so you need an "updated" browser.
I know it works in Firefox 3.6.8. It also technically works in IE8, but the dots don't resize like they do in Firefox.

Thanks for the link, scholarette. Guess I missed the Pac-Man day. But speaking of loss of productivity -- is it really pathetic that I downloaded Firefox because my dots weren't resizing like Nighthawk mentioned and I wanted to see that?
I have used Firefox in the past and liked it but for some reason never put it on this computer.

The one thing about having internet in Israel instead of the US is that I don't get the fun google pages anymore! Even if I go to the page in English over Hebrew, it's still always normal! It's so sad.

I just noticed that the strings are bound to hotkeys as well.
Also, Raia, google has a page for logos. Perhaps those will work for you if the front page doesn't show up.

Is there some sort of sequence to the buttons? Mind only shows the left most two, and I can't interact with anything else.

Each button controls the fuzzy monster above it. Whichever is selected follows your mouse with their eyes and opens their mouth when you click. Oh, and the second from the left does something cool if you click enough.
