Good luck! Will everyone think it's strange if you get packages and letters addressed to "Zevlag"?

Good luck dude! Have fun, and don't let the Fijians bite you (No really, they do that sometimes).

Have fun, and good luck! Don't let those Chinese Aussies change your accent or sacrifice your babies or anything crazy like that.
By the way, you never sent me that email from Saturday night. It's okay, though. I can wait a couple years.

I miss Zevvy. He's such a good friend - I called him several times when I felt alone in a crowd, and he always understood whenever I'd wig out a little bit because I was sad about my family. Didn't necessarily agree with me, but didn't condemn for the way I felt. Also, always, always sounded happy to hear from me. For all he's accomplished, I can't believe he's only nineteen. AND is totally humble - quietly has the computer skills to blow everyone off the scale, but doesn't brag about it.
If this sounds like a eulogy, it is, in a way. He's coming back someday and definitely going to write and everything, but for now, our friend is gone.

But kat, people can keep posting their well wishes, and about the time he'll be leaving for Australia you can print them out and mail them to him, can't you? I think it would be a nice thing to take along and refer back to if he feels homesick ever... and as much as I'm sure he'll make the most of this opportunity, like he seems to have made the most of the rest of his life, everyone gets homesick now and then. Besides, how could he help but miss us!
(I volunteered you since he mentioned you have his address... if you don't want to or are too stressed, I'd be happy to do it once the thread seems "finished.")

I feel bad that I haven't been around enough lately that I missed your plans to go on a mission (which is, I assume, why you're leaving for two years).
When you get back and read this, I hope this stage in your life brings you joy.

Enjoy it while it lasts. For me, the 2 years seemed like it was over in a lot less than 2 years.
