Hey everyone. Sorry that I have been gone for so long. But you know how its.
Anyway, I am looking for any kind of feedback on the robota graphic novel. I want to buy it, but first I would like to know what people have thought of it.
I know others have posted looking for the same thing, but no one has responded to those.

I haven't seen it, but I haven't gotten the impression that it's a graphic novel in the commonly-understood sense. It's an art book with a story to link the images ... like Wayne Barlowe's recent work.

Wow Geoff...even you haven't seen it? But then, you're an adult with a life. I can understand. I haven't either. I haven't found it in my favorite book stores, though I might be looking in the wrong places...
You can see a few of the pictures a little closer here. It looks pretty cool.

I've seen it, but didn't have much time to look at it, nor $35 to buy it. So I can't tell you much, except that it's too tall for the shelves where I keep my OSC books. I think.

Doesn't that bug you Pop?? I guess it's because it's an 'art' book that the hardcover size isn't the same. All the same, it's irritating when someone is looking at your OSC collection in awe, and you have to point to another shelf to make sure they know how cool you are. It kind of ruins the mood, don't you think?

Well, I already have to point to three shelves, but the fact that Robota doesn't fit on any of them means that either I have to put the book on its side (sure to warp it, just like with LPs, right?) or it looks like the proverbial red-headed stepchild -- "Oh, here's my OSC collection. I love them all, except for that one. I call it Bucky, because it's the wrong size, it's ugly, and it smells." (Two points for the reference.)
<Agrees that Cecily is cool, but would defer to Icky's judgement even if he disagreed.>

I didn't when I saw this, but I have sinced figured this out. Anyway, as I have mentioned on your landmark, I think all of your posts are special, but I guess I think newbies need to be told more often so they'll feel at home. So when I thought you were a newbie . . .
