Crystal city seems like it might not be the last in the series, despite the name. I mean, the war is still going to happen, calvin is there, and stuff like that. It doesn't seem totally finished, somehow. Anyone know?

Crystal City is most definitely NOT the last in the series. According to Card, there's one more book.

You can tell you've reached the end of the series when....Okay, since you asked this question, you presumably don't know, so I won't spoil it for you. [Smile]

Since the main character in the series parallels a real, historical figure I'm guessing that OSC is going to take this story to its climactic conclusion.

I'm surprised that everybody doesn't have their own copy of the golden plow by now.

It's not so much that it parallels, as there is a certain event forshadowed repeatedly.

It's the marriage of Purity Orphan and Verily Cooper. Yeah, that's it. Just kidding.

OSC said he intended to write 3 books in this series and Crystal City was the last book in the second book. I wonder how many books will be in the third.
