...and must admit that I am endlessly impressed by his skill with the written word. Such complex yet easily comprehendable concepts such as faster than light travel, ramen and the like. I have been reading the Ender's Quartet for a week now and just finished Xenocide. The sheer volume of interesting and unique characters is beyond those of normal writers: Orson Scott Card is truly a gift to the literature world. I just had to voice my admiration for this man's work and congradulate him on acquiring the opportunity to have Ender's Game done on the silver screen. I surely will be the first one in line for a ticket, although I will have to fight my way through the hoards of loyal fans that populate these boards.
Once again, thank you for your wonderful books and amazing intellect and creativity, OSC.

The first time I read the "Ender Books" I was blown away too. Though my first exposure to OSC was Stone Tables, which is an amazing novel in its own right. Congrats on your discovery Silverfyre.

I hear you, when I found a copy of Maps in a Mirror at my local bookstore I quickly spent my grocery money for the week and had to live on beans and rice for a while.
