Hi there,

I don't know if this is best place to go about this, but I have an extensive OSC Collection, much of which is signed, that I'm looking to get off my shelves.

I spent about 6 years obsessively collecting OSC books in their many varied forms and attended at least 4 signings in the meantime, so some of the signed books have inscriptions and personalization but not all.

I'm not looking to rid myself of everything, and I have no delusions that anyone will want to buy everything.

Some highlights of what I'm selling -- The first 5 Alvin books in Hardcover, signed (no inscription), All 5 Homecoming books in Hardcover, signed (no inscription), Vintage paperback of Capital, signed (I bought it for about $60, it's wrapped in plastic), and lots of other things.

I'm preparing a list, and it includes all the abridged audiobooks I have, some never opened.

I'm not asking a mint, just whatever they're reasonably worth, and I thought I'd mention it here first before going anywhere else.

If you're interested, email notbakula@hotmail.com RE: OSC Collection for a list and suggested asking prices.

If you have suggestions of other places that I could announce this, I'd be grateful for the suggestions.

*shocks that anyone would sell their OSC collection*

Really - most of us already have collections of our own (that we won't part with!). So maybe not the best group to ask...

My suggestion would be sell it on Ebay as well. Sell the whole thing in one fell swoop.

I have Capitol and Hot Sleep. Capitol is in very good shape too, a minimum of creasing and wear. It's also signed (twice, once as just Scott and again with full signature) with an inscription to someone that's not me, I bought it signed. It's in a nice plastic sleeve and is really in much better shape than many of my other paperbacks.

Hot Sleep is in great shape too. If you're interested, send an email to me -- notbakula@hotmail.com and I'll send the list out.

Sell them hun? You could just do something really stupid like I did and bag them up and give them to Goodwill. Yup!

Boy did I ever suffer from that cleaning frenzy!

[Smile] No no dont waste them on ebay. Ill buy most of them. Ive have only just recently discovered the most wonderful OSC literally about a week ago and so i only have "Ender's game", "Speaker for the Dead", "Xenocide" and yesterday i ordered "Children of the Mind" so ill buy the rest of the books you have apart from those. Are they all hardback and what covers do they have?

Well if you're planning to buy them all in bulk I can negotiate a lower price than what I have listed -- email me at notbakula@hotmail.com for the list.

I have hardbacks signed without inscription, hardbacks signed with inscriptions, hardbacks not signed at all, trade paperbacks (signed, not signed, etc), paperbacks (etc), as well as uncorrected reading excerpts, collections edited by OSC, collections containing works by OSC, audio books (abridged ones only, I'm keeping my unabridged), and other things too (like a copy of Storyteller and the Stone Tables CD)
