Is it just me or are there too many disasters going on this month? Storms, Valcanoes, Earth Quakes and a nation divided on wars and rumors of war. I am not a big fan of bibical prophesey or anything that assaults the reality of free will, but if I had caught a glimpse of this month in a chrystal sphere of blood water I would have thought it was the end of days.

The problem with these type events is that everybody thinks God is saying something different! [Wink]

If it is the end at least I do not have to read anymore Wheel of Time Novels! But I will never know who the Half Blood Prince is (My bet is Hagrid!)

Yep, it's been very strange. Someone on another group said that "they" think all of it is somehow related (but naturally didn't elaborate on who "they" is)

And I personally think that the Half Blood Prince is Draco Malfoy... wouldn't that be just desserts? LOL

No way is it Malfoy! There is a chance that it is Crum the Quiditch star, but it needs to be a half blood of some kind, that leaves Hagrid, and that one kid Seamus and I cannot think who else! However there is no chance of making Malfoy, the bad guy, into a hero.

I had a wild thought though, what if she used one of the royals like prince William! That would be wild!

This is the main reason why I think Malfoy being the HBP would be wo perfect... his blatant hatred of muggles and "mud-bloods", his snotty attitude because (at least to our knowledge so far) he's a pureblood - even as Hagrid tells Hermione that "there's not a wizard left who doesn't have at least a little Muggle blood" (at least I think that was the quote).

Just because the HBP is a title character doesn't mean that he has to necessarily be a hero. It's been repeatedly alluded (and maybe said blatantly as well) that Draco is an heir of Slytherin and also that Lucius Malfoy is still a devout follower of Voldemort (I don't remember if he was a Death-Eater or not).

Since there's only two books left, perhaps Harry has to go up against Draco to get to Voldemort... or maybe Voldemort, remembering how much damage Harry did as a baby against him directly, in book 1 against his parasitic whatever on Professor Quarrel, and in book 2 against his memory-self of Tom Riddle (I'm way due for a re-read, I don't remember much of 4-5 and 3 only because of the movie), has decided to send in a minion who wouldn't be affected by the "mother's love" protection that has repeatedly served Harry well. And maybe that minion is the HBP.
