You know, I really miss several characters from Ender’s Game, and am hoping to see more of them in SotG.
Any chances of seeing more of Dink, for an example? I really miss him. And what about Crazy Tom? Shen? I’d even like to see what happened eventually with Bernard. I really hope we’ll hear from Nikolai again, as well.

Even though I really doubt we'll be hearing from any of these characters I do hope to at least see Crazy Tom and Shen and what they've been doing in their respective countries heck, even Vlad will do. However I'm perfectly fine with Hot Soup, thats going to be great plot. I wonder what happens next...

It would be good to see Nikolai again. In Shadow Puppets, you'd think that Bean didn't even have a family anymore...

I want to see Dink as well, didn't he kind of have a thing for Petra? ^_^ I wonder how he took Petra and Bean's marriage.

Petra had a thing for him. The was something in Shadow of the Hegemon that said that when she was in Battle School if someone she had really trusted had asked her who she was going to marry someday, she would have eventually said Dink.

Offhand, I remember a reference to Crazy Tom being in England, maybe a little correspondance between him and Bean, but nothing more than that.
Do you think Han Tzu will go on to found Divine Wind after everything's said and done? I mean, he's not going to be emperor forever if Peter becomes a globally recognized hegemon. I'm not sure the Enderverse timing of when Divine Wind started, but I think it'd be a fun little inclusion.

I'd like to know more about Pinual, myself. He's mentioned only once, the only other death at Battle School, but I always wanted to know who he was.

Doesnt the genetic alterations in path remind you of Bean's condition? Just not quite the same.

When I first read that Han Tzu was offered a trip to a colony, the first thing I thought was that he might end up being the founder of Path. Though the condition of the God-Spoken isn't actually that similar to Bean. They may be smarter than regular people, but they never struck me as having Bean's level of genius. They obviously don't have the growth defect either. But maybe the genetic modifications are based on the same principles, and toning down the intelligence was a necessary trade-off to cure the growth. Who knows?
