I'm a teacher from the UK and I was hoping to use the short story of 'Enders Game' as a means for discussing issues of power and responsibility (and anything else that may come up and be useful). Does anyone have or know of any study guides for the short story only. I realise that the complete book guide will also be useful, but it's just not practical in a classroom context. I'm talking about kids who are 11-16, BTW.
There is a Teachers section in the Research Area of this site, and it lists some discussion questions for the books Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow. I don't know whether any of the lists of questions are geared to the short story, but it is possible. Perhaps some geared toward the novel could be easily modified to fit the short story?

In the new book "First Meetings" it has a bunch of short stories and in the back are questions geared towards a younger audience. The book is easy enough and short enough that it would probably be good for your class.
