Okay I know I tend to defend Mr Card's works whenever a contradiction appears but I noticed one between EG and SotH.

In EG Valentine says that she's the one who sent Ender away from Earth so that he doesnt become an unhappy puppet.

In SotH it said that Peter sent Ender away in order to protect him ad Bean was thinking to himself that one day he'll find out whether this is true, because if Peter sent Ender away selflishly he'll destory him.

I really have no means of resolving this to myself anyone want to comment?

IIRC, in EG Valentine blackmailed Peter into letting Ender go on the colony ship. So it is valid to both say that Valentine sent him on the ship and that Peter sent him on the ship.

This one has come up before. I always figured that it was a case of Peter and Val seeing the same event differently. ie. Val twisted Peter's arm so that he wouldn't let Ender return, but Val didn't know that Peter intended to do so anyway (or later convinced himself that he did) so he allowed his arm to be twisted, so to speak. So in other words, they both wanted it, and they both took measures to make it happen.

Probably Valentine due to her kinder nature. Peter always came across to me as someone who's quiet honest with himself. He always seems to be in control.

(Spoiler)

Here's how it went. Ender defeats the Formics and becomes savior of the world. Once this happens Peter, still as Locke, makes a proposal that states: both that the students of the former Battle School should be place in protective custody, and Ender should not be allowed to return to Earth. The reason being that everyone with any potential for command was at Battle School at the end of the war, if conflict's were to erupt on Earth after the 3rd buggar war (which they were bound to) all nations would violently seek Battle Schoolers, Ender in particular, causing massive imbalances of power. This was known as the Locke Proposal. The reason for Ender's exile was two fold. Peter did believe that Ender's return would cause conflict but he also couldn't allow such a hero to return, for it would threaten his rise to power. Val convinced Peter to let Ender partake in the first of the colony ships as a compromise. Val gets to live with Ender, and Peter will never have to deal with him again do to the relativistic effects of deep space travel.

Alright that seems reasonable.
