About never getting to read the short stories between Alvin Maker V and VI, I kind of wish OSC would do some short stories about Bean raising his kids on the messenger ship. I just think that would be a hoot, but possibly not what is wanted to kick off the next novel. Of course, if OSC wrote another novel before the linker, I'd also vote for that.
