A Teamspeak server! So that we can all talk to each other, does anyone here think it would be a fantastic experiance? So many of us are from other countries it would be kinda like a cultural exchange experiance, who here agrees?

It exists already. There's the AIM Hatrack Chat room; there's also the 'Chat' option in the menu above.

I think sid is speaking more of something like Ventrilo, where people can actually speak to one another. With like their voices rather than their keyboards.

actually I don't think TS requires a server I think i could do it from my own computer, or just set up the P2 we have collecting dust and use that, I'ld be willing to host it I'm trying to figure out how at this moment.

TS seems really simple and Ventrilo seems really complicated. Just that I already figured out how ot host a server. Now I'm figuring out how ot make a channel.

Actually teamspeak hosts servers that can be used by anyone for free; like a chat room, all you need to do is go to their website, find the server you want to get onto, then create 'a room'. You can password the room and then give that password only to the people you want.
At least, that's how it was back in the day ...

So, who should host the server? 192.168.1.2 is my server though I probly won't be on it all that often since I hang out with friends of mine on another server. Come and visit if anyone of you wish too.
