I was all set to go to bed at 10pm last night, because I had a big meeting this morning... So I decide to read a little bit of Xenocide... and BAM, it's 3:30am.

Yeah, i find myself right now re-reading the ender's series during class while i should be paying attention...it's just the books are much more exciting than digital logic and physics.

I have done that with a lot of books, including OSC, and "Dictionary of Word Origins" by John Ayto (I'm not kidding).

My father had never read a book in his life unless it was a tech manual until I gave him Enders Game about 10yrs ago.He stayed up all night two nights in a row to finish it.

My social studies teacher yelled at me to stop reading in class in seventh grade until he saw the author, and said it was ok. That was strange for me.

Thats a interesting teacher. I finshed Ender's game in a day and started reading it again almost right after I finshed.

I did that 3 times with Ender's Game and once with Lost Boys, decided to just read the first chapter quick before going to bed and next thing I knew I was being yanked back into reality as I finished the book around 5 or 6 in the morning. I have finnally learned never to start a book in the evening.
