been looking for an OLD pc game that came out, i'd guess, mid-late 90's. the graphics were anime styled and the story was written by OSC. cant remember much more than that except, that at the time the computer i had wasn't powerful enough to run it, so i never bought it. then, once i did have a strong enough pc, i couldnt ever find it, haha. i cant remember the name, and the only thing google and the search engine here can come up with is about advent rising. i figure some OSC fan here has got to know *something*. thanks in advance for any info anyone might be able to provide ^^;

You may be thinking of The Dig, for which OSC wrote the dialogue, but not the story.
He also did dialogue for a shooting-gallery game whose title I can't remember. I doesn't show up on mobygames, so it may not even have come out. But that was where we first starting thinking about future slang, much of which he used in the Shadow series.

There is also a 1996 game called “Neo Hunter” which copies of frequently turn up on Ebay for a not bad price. It is anime and I think is what you are talking about.

Neo Hunter! Thank you! That's the shooter I was thinking of, for which he wrote the slang dialogue.

No no no, we can’t work out some kind of arrangement! The $10 was what I paid for mine. It is now a part of the OSC Children’s College fund that I have spent so much money on (meaning it’s in my collection to stay!) I was just trying to show you where you can get one on ebay.
