I was just wondering how true you think the screenwriters will remain to the script which OSC mentioned at the end of the Ender's Game audiobook. He seemed pessimistic about it, which begs the question of why he bothered writing them in the first place, if they would not be used?

I'm the screenwriter right now. I think I did a great job. But you can't film it exactly as written - the book takes place mostly inside Ender's head. The changes I've made, though, are cool - and there are some that I WISH I had thought of when I was writing the book in the first place. Oh, well. Can't spend my career going back and improving the old books!

Stellar - Orson Scott Card's last comment made me fully pumped to pay ridiculous percentages of my paycheck to see the movie in the theatre (as opposed to warily interested)... SCORE!

Joy!!! Can't wait for the movie. Can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait. This might actually be one I stand in line for to see the premiere. I've never done that before.
