I was at LosCon when Card was on a panel with Liz Owen and Paul Kobelja talking about this movie.
It's still listed, with those names attached, on the Taleswapper website.
Any chance it is still happening? Any chance it will still be with those names attached?
Any information about things that couldn't be talked about back then, but are fair game now (such as what actors had expressed interest, besides Joe C.)?
Thanks for any info, from anybody.

I predict no movie off of OSC books will ever be made in his lifetime. I give 50/50 odds after he dies.

I don't know. There seems to be a lot of hype on the Empire movie. That one might happen along with the video game and book. It would be cool if they could do a whole trilogy in game, book, and movie.

We're working on a rewrite of the script, but interference from my actual job has halted progress for the last few weeks. We're still really serious about it! I just need to ship this darn game ...

If it were guaranteed that a single successful Card movie would result in better funding, and generally better results for all future Card films, would you all still want Ender's Game to be first?

Puppy, are you also involved in the Ender's Game film at all? I know you've looked at the script where you suggested a cameo appearance from Scott as an officer on the shuttle, but what's been happening from then till now?
