I've been reading the Ender series fanatically and repetetively over the course of 9 years now. I've always been a huge fan of OSC's works, and like many before me have, I was wondering if there is a way to write him? I apologize in advance if there is somewhere this question is answered; I'm not very computer literate, so it becomes difficult at times to find what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance!

I did; the only options it comes up with are question related. I mean just a standard letter. "Fan mail" is the term generally used, regardless of how much I hate it.

I wrote my first "fan mail" through the contact link. I eventually got a personalized response from him, and was so excited that I joined the forum (back when he was posting here).

I first contacted him through the Contact link, too (just to be a slobbery fangirl). I, too, eventually received a very pleasant personal response (with a very early hour of the morning in the time stamp...insomnia on OSC's part?), but of course none of us here can guarantee that you'll get a personal response. By the way, as awesome as the Ender series is, Card has quite a fantastic body of work. Like most other fans, I started out with the Ender books but my favorites, and the ones I re-read the most often, are now some of his earliest novels, such as Hart's Hope and Wyrms (which was just released on audio, and which I am eagerly uploading on my iPod right now, and which I will even more eagerly be listening to while I work today!)

Make sure you explore the rest of his writing. You will not be disappointed with any of it!

I think it's funny how Launchywiggin refers to the time when OSC used to post here, because when I signed up with my first sn (somewhere around 8 years ago) he never posted here. I remember 2005-2006 as a kind of golden age.

Although, it was also around then that trolls came in abundance and well-loved elder members began to leave in droves. That part wasn't so golden.
