I'm relatively new to hatrack.com, but I first came to OSC through the Alvin Maker series a couple of years ago, and loved it so much that I had to see what all "that Ender stuff" was about.
Well, now I've read every Enderverse book/story, too, and I just finished both Pathfinder books.
I loved the alternative history of the Alvin Maker books, and I really loved the interwoven story of the Enderverse/Shadow books, though the Formic War books haven't really been my cup of tea. (I think you can tell OSC either didn't write them at all or didn't write large parts of them. The style and tone is just different.) I found the Pathfinder books entertaining, as well, though not as riveting as the Enderverse or Alvin Maker. I think the bottom line is that I just like OSC's writing/storytelling style compared to most other fiction I've read.
Does anyone have any suggestions for what to read next (OSC or otherwise)?

From OSC I loved Enchantment and Folk of the Fringe. I also enjoyed The Lost Gate and Songmaster though not quite as much.

Absolutely Enchantment. Romantic, exciting, clever, moving, and just good.
The Lost Gate/The Gate Thief were quite enjoyable as well, though full of the cliffhangers.
I've recently discovered Megan Whalen Turner's Attolia series (The Thief, The Queen of Attolia, The King of Attolia, and A Conspiracy of Kings). A bit younger in audience than Ender's Game, but deals with a lot of the same ethical issues. She also has a great style that is somewhat comparable to Card's, in sparsity of description and depth of perspective and emotion.
John Scalzi provides some really fun scifi that's very much indebted to Ender's Game (explicitly so in "The Ghost Brigades") in the Old Man's War series. Very different philosophy behind them, very different aesthetic, and a writing style that has great surface but not quite as much holding power (for me) as Card's, but still a wild ride. (Definitely rated on the higher side - probably an R-rating for both sex and violence, just in case there are younger people looking for similar books in this thread.)

In recent years, Brandon Sanderson has become my favorite fantasy author. Particular favorites of mine are Elantris, Warbreaker, and the Mistborn books. I've enjoyed everything I've read by him so far. My favorite book by him is The Way of Kings, but it's part one of an eventual nine-volume series. Still, its well-written enough that I won't mind reading it again in preparation for the second book later this year. Or next year. Or whenever.
