I absolutely am addicted to Broadway! The music, dancing, singing everything! So I would like to know what is everyone's favorite? This would be really intersting to know!
At this point in time I am in no shape to decide what I think is the best due to finals coming up and it is my first time having to take them so it is a brand new adventure!

Yes, fiazko, although I'm not making fun of your taste in musicals or anything like that. I thought 42nd street is a cross street on Broadway (until my much more cultured friend pointed out that it is a fairly famous musical).

Ah, Beren. I see. For reference, I wasn't angry. I was just confused. Like, I could see if I had said Momma Mia or The Full Monty (although, I am a fan of ABBA and the movie The Full Monty). Anyway, you're forgiven for now, but I'll be keeping an eye on you.

Haven't seen the musical, but loved the movie. I am well aware of the fact that my tastes are diversely mainstream. I am ok with that. Laugh all you want.

I was only teasing, though I really did dislike that movie. I know what it's like to have tastes that differ from the mainstream. I often switch between having a broadway soundtrack and a Metallica album in my CD player.

i can completely relate...i think it's awesome when people can like different types of music...kinda depends on mood right?

Mood, yeah...but I have no idea what mood triggers what music. I'm one of those people who will put a CD in my player and listen to it several times over the course of a few days or a week, then change CDs and do it again.
And my collection of Broadway soundtracks is constantly growing.

My favorites are Sweeney Todd, The Secret Garden(got to be in that one!!), and Into the Woods in no particular order.
I also love Joseph and the ATD (got to play the narrator in that one), Once on This Island (brilliant show, I got to be Erzulie), and 1776(I played Thomas Jefferson. Just kidding.)
Yeah, I could probably go on forever.

That's awesome! I mean I like the new ones fine and they're really fun like Rent and Aida and all of those, but also I like the old ones like My Fair Lady and Sound of Music, the classics ya know?
