Happy Easter to you, too! Mine can't be full of chocolate until after our fast is over. *mutters* Darned Bishopric that can't do the sensible thing and delay Fast Sunday until after General Conference if it's Easter...
And to top it off, we're having a "very special speaker" in Relief Society who's one of those LDS singers whose music I can't stand.
I'm seriously tempted not to go.

Yeah, we have fast sunday tomorrow too. I had to finagle to even get the choir in to sing during the meeting, but we are and it'll be good.

Okay, I just actually read the e-mail we were sent, and I'm glad I did. My bad. By not listening to the announcement, I got "singer/songwriter". Actually, she's an Isaiah scholar/BYU professor/"poetess" ( And why is she not a poet? ). That's not as bad. Although I'm afraid I don't seem to like her poetry very much. *snickers behind hand just a little* And apparently she and her husband are parents of "three children and a Navajo foster son". (Why did they have to mention that he's Navajo? How is that relevant? Down here people are way too focused on so-called "race". In fact, a lot of Mormons are in general. But that's not fair, I guess people are in general. Anyway, that's not how I was raised. And is this one of those "stolen from the reservation by the U.S. government" horror stories? Don't worry, I won't ask. But I look at that sentence a little askance.)
Ann Madsen, to actually answer your question. Wife of Truman G. Madsen, whom I have actually heard of.
