Previously talked about in this thread, Sci-fi author and marine biologist has released his first two books (along with several short stories) under a non-commercial Creative Commons license.

The novels and stories are available in pdf form here. I figured you guys might be interested.

Way, way cool. How come he did this after I bought the paperbacks? Any idea if he'll release the Behemoth books on the web?

I hope given some time he will. I just found out that the author Cory Doctorow has released some books under CC as well here , as anybody read any of his stuff?

No, but I'll certainly check them out. I'm also impressed that Watts has some of his short story's up - so dark, so fascinatingly dark.

Cory Doctorow has released all his books that way, the same day they went on sale. And yet his books go into multiple printings. Authors, take note.
