quote: Surrender now, you can not win! ... all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible but in the end, they always fall -- think of it, ALWAYS
What is your real battle cry?

First off, I'm fairly certain that is for the badger kings.
Second off. My battle cry is (in a deep feudal samuri voice) "GGGGGGGYYYYYYYYYYYUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNYYYYYYYYYYYUUUUUUUUUUU" (G-you-new). Which is japanese for milk.

Oh, Rabbit! I think I'll just stick with yours. And toss in a few dozen redemption songs, and that'll be pretty darn invincible! I'm doing a compilation CD of redemption songs. Does anyone have any suggestions? Here's the lineup so far.
We Shall Overcome U2 - Sunday Bloody Sunday U2 - New Year's Day Sam Cooke - Change is Gonna Come Hymn - Love at Home Sam Cooke - Bring it on Home to Me Sam Cooke - Touch the Hem of His Garment Another Lullabye The Smashing Pumpkins' - Tonight, Tonight
Toretha's suggestions: Peter Paul and Mary - Great Mandela Peter Paul and Mary - Greenwood Peter Paul and Mary - No Easy Walk to Freedom Woody Guthrie - This Land is Your Land Down by the Riverside
Anyone have any more ideas? We need at least a 2 cd set, I think, to save the whole world with. Don't you?

You know? Sometimes hate and death and chaos seem pretty powerful. Then I remember that the Rabbit is on our side. And I'm just completely sure again that there is nothing at all to fear. That we will win in the end, and indeed already HAVE won.

Oh.... Oh.... Tonight, Tonight always makes me cry... I watched a really good Anime Music Video with that song, and I'm no longer immune to crying whenever I hear it.

Abby, me too! I love the Pumpkins. I've been having a Pumpkins revival lately. All their music is like that. Underneath the love and desperation it's just so full of hope.

Here's another good redemption song. I forget what it's called, but it's that song from Les Miserables that goes:
We will live again in freedom in the garden of the Lord We will walk behind the plowshare, we will put away the sword The chain will be broken and all men will have their reward
Will you join in our crusade Who will be strong and stand with me? Somewhere beyond the barricade is there a world you long to see...

The ultimate war cry in my opinion is silence, believe me there is nothing scarier than a silent enemy. Plus screams and yells tend to draw fire, which isn't appreciated by your buddies.
Plus in my opinion the ultimate battle cry is the echo which is resounds. As you said all evil tyrants have fallen, but then so have all the times of peace. I always liked the style of the Mongols that being you had one chance to surrender, if you didn't well then all the men paid the price. Those crazy men on horseback sent the cultural capital of the world , the middle east, into a down ward spin, from which it really hasn't recovered.
