I'm off to LBL for a day and a night for a mammalology field trip. We're going to be setting nets to catch bats in. Hopefully none of them will bite me; I don't want to become a vampire... [Wink]

Meanwhile I have been promoted at work, plus worked right up to 40 hours (a rare occurrence) and got to go home early today because of it. (Cracker Barrel doesn't let anyone work overtime except in cases of utter necessity.)

Ooh.. sounds like fun. Have a lovely time! Don't forget your brown-bagged lunch! (I forgot my brown-bagged lunch on a field trip once in first grade. It was way traumatic.)

Bats, though, really freak me out. *shudder* Please don't let them bite you. Freaky, very freaky.
