Hey all!

I haven't been here in so long. Wow... It really has been a while, I suppose. I thought I'd give everyone a mini-update, in case y'all were wondering about me, which I'm sure you ALL were... [Wink]

Elliott Smith died Tuesday and I was devistated to find out. I cried so much. He was absolutely amazing. He always will be. To those of you who knew him, or even just heard his voice, you must know what I mean... And to those of you who never had the chance to love him while he was alive... I'm sorry, because he truly was..is... amazing.

I am officially out of therapy. I am so much happier to be out of it. I realize in retrospect that much of my stress was from having to go to that awful place. It wasn't helping me, it was keeping me back. No more doctors and no more pills that do more harm than good! I feel like I have grown quite a bit, and I am able to handle my emotions in a more stable manner, yet not keep them in and make them bottle up and explode, over and over... Heh. Good Ol' Elliott... I've been terribly upset about Elliott's death, but I cried and now I am moving on, still with his memory in mind and with the knowledge that he meant a great deal to me, but that I don't have to grieve for him forever. I can still honor his memory by loving his music as much as I always have.

Hmmm... that said, I am moving out of the house in less than 8 months. Closer to 7, now... Hehe!My fiance, Danny, and I are moving to Seattle. I am going to go to the Art Institute of Seattle. I have my conference call with the head of admissions there on Tuesday and I think my admissions interview is then as well!

They promoted me to the 4-10 at work a couple weeks ago. That means I am the night shift supervisor. I used to only be 4-10 on Wednesdays and Fridays but now I am the main 4-10 because they cut the former 4-10's hours... It's really cool, for me anyways... Way less stressful than I thought. The first night that I was closer, the manager later told me I had done such a great job that I was a better closer than the night manager, hehe! I have a steady income and I am going to have 1000 dollars more each month until I graduate, starting January, because of social security. I cant wait. I should be at about 10,000 dollars when I graduate... enough to at least get me started in a little place in Seattle, or somewhere just outside Seattle. Plus, whatever Danny earns by that time, too.

I am so excited to be moving out and moving in with Danny. If I had the choice of staying in Riverside with him or moving out alone, I'd probably stay here... but I don't want to, I hate this town! so I am glad my options are not that limited! My mom is excited for me too, for being engaged and for making such great plans, but she is not wanting me to leave. Probably because she will be stuck here with my brother, just them two. Hah!

School is going fine. I have enough credits to graduate already but I still need to finish my required classes... all two of them, says my counselor. Heh. It's okay though, I get out at 11:20ish every day. As usual,, the classes are a bunch of bull-honky, but hey, it gives me time to get things done, like my application to schools and whatnot, teeheehee!

I am so excited about moving. My grandparents dont think I really will, but I don't care what they or anyone thinks. This is what I have wanted for years now, and I am finally working on actually making it happen. =)

So... yeah. That's about all. Oh, we still havent sold my horse, but we're trying. Please keep your fingers crossed that we will get calls on him and that he will find a good home, yeah? Thanks!

Oh... and Cruz doesn't want to talk to me anymore, and I respect that, so I won't talk to him. But I hope that if he reads this, he knows that I truly hope he will want to be friends again someday. I also hope that things with he and Megan work out how he wants, because they really do seem great for each other.

Okay, that's all for now. =) Talk to everyone later. [Smile]

PS... keep your fingers crossed for me about my admissions interview, please!! =)

Good luck with the interview. I'm glad to hear things are going well. I was saddened to hear about Elliot Smith as well. What a way to go huh? Screwed up. YOu never talk to me anymore. [Wink]

Good luck IndexCard! [The Wave]

And yes, very sad about Elliot Smith's death. Gives me a chill about how it occurred.

By the way... did anyone else think this thread could have been about the new Pitch Black movie? Okay... just me... move along.
