On the bottom it says that the site is copyrighted by Hatrack River, there's a forum that scarily resembles ours...is this another OSC article and why can't I find an author listed??

An explanation could be that the creator of that site stole some of hatrack's source code when he built the site, and then either stupidly or for acknowledgement reasons omitted to take out the Hatrack copyright notice.

There are tons of UBB forums. Hatrack is not alone in that. But there is definitely more connection than that, isn't there? I think I remember reading about it somewhere on this site, sometime long ago. But I can't remember who or what it's about. <laughs> Will someone please clear up the mystery?

Well, seeing as how there's a link to that site on the Hatrack homepage, I'm guessing it's authorized.
Way back when, the link was there too... I remember linking to that site from hatrack over a year ago. I still don't know who runs it, or who writes it, but it's been affiliated with OSC for some time, it seems.
