I've decided to get either Goblin commander or star wars: rebel strike. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on which I should get?

Everyone stinks at Prince of Persia 1 & 2. The play control was horrible, and you had to do things by trial and error. In the new one, play control is fluid and intuitive, the puzzles are logical, and the graphics are no less than stunning. Throw in an interesting story and surprisingly good (for a video game) voice acting, and you've got yourself an instant classic.

Hm. I toyed with the idea of buying Rebel Strike myself, but then I decided I've done the Death Star trench run and the defense of Hoth enough times already; doing it again with nicer graphics just wouldn't be any more fun. I've got Rogue Leader, but I never did finish it. I know there's more material in Rebel Strike than just the "classic" missions, but more Star Wars just wasn't compelling enough.
Having just played and finished one of the two storylines in LucasArts' Gladius, the first non-Star Wars game they've produced in a while, I also plan to hold off on buying Goblin Commander, pending more thorough reviews. It's not that I don't trust the folks who did Warcraft... I'm just not sure what kind of strategic depth consoles are capable of in the RTS genre. From what I've read so far, out-producing your opponent is the main goal; you just chuck your units at the computer and if you have more of them you win. I don't tihnk that's enough for me anymore... we'll see.
Sands of Time is another that I've been eyeing. I suspect I'll pick it up after Christmas.

in goblin commander depending on how many clans you can have the maximum number of units you can have can be between 11 and 33. you also can take control of a unit yourself and play in third person mode.
