I resolved to lose all my fat in 2004 and found that my weight stabilized at a maintainable and acceptable level in late July. I couldn't lose any more weight after the weather started turning cold, but I've managed to hold onto the progress that I made earlier in the year. Hopefully I can drop a few more pounds when the outdoor activities start to heat up again in spring.
Anyway, I would set a goal of where you want to be by the end of the summer, not by the end of the year.

I'm not starting a weight loss goal until equinox, but it's still possible to lose up to 2 pounds a week in a healthy and permanent way, and then it's 26 weeks until the next equinox.
I think winter is the worst time to diet, for the metabolism. The body thinks there's a famine and may hold on to more fat. But I think eating healthier and excercising to condition muscles is a great idea.
My resolutions are to: 1. Wake up for meditation and solitude in the morning. 2. Declutter my home. 3. Do Tai Chi daily. 4. Practice piano.
I'm not sure what's going on with my novel. I have a long range goal to submit it to a publisher or agent by my birthday in June. I guess I need to commit to a plan of action for that.

I purchased a exercise system on DVD with an online support program in late summer, but due to some health issues, I haven't done anything with it yet.
I have an appointment with my physician tomorrow and if she gives me the go ahead, I plan to start the program right away. My biggest concern is when to do it. It's a 45 minute program, and it's recommended that it's done in the morning, but I know that won't happen. I'm going to try to do it as soon as I get home from work each afternoon.

1. Don't speak of others behind their back in a way that I would be ashamed to have them hear. 2. I'm not telling.

I will lose weight, about 30 lbs total. Jenni and I are joining the Y because they have a pool, and if we move we will be able to transfer our membership. Also it is only $37 a month for both of us.
I go on a modified Adkins (don't lecture me about it please, I have done the reasearch) tomorrow, with no more soda at all....I did it in the Army, I can do it again.
