It looks like some doozies are coming out. I have a longer list than usual:

Other movies that I wanted to see but probably won't: The Missing and Cold Mountain.
Did I miss any good ones?

I'm so poor this year that I think I'm going to have to wait until most of them come to the dollar theater. [Frown]

Luckily, I'll get to go to ROTK with my family over break, but it'll probably be the only one.

But I do really want to see Mona Lisa Smile! Actually, I agree with you on all the movies you mentioned that I had heard of. [Smile]

It's The House of Sand and Fog, kwsni. It looks amazing.

Master and Commander was fantastic. If it wasn't for RotK, this would be my Oscar pick. I'm going to see it again.

I'm very interested to see Monster, too.

You aLL need to see In America if it comes anywhere near you. IMHO, that's the film Return of the King is gonna have to beat come Oscar Time. And it's got the best performances by child actors I've seen in a LONG time (and the girls are played by real life sisters!).

As for what I'm dying to see?

-ROTK
-Last Samurai
-Big Fish
-Somethings Gotta Give
-Kill Bill, vol 2

Plus, I'm actually very interested in seeing THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT.

And isn't Troy coming out in the summer? If we're counting Summer Flicks, then you have to count HP3 in there!

I've heard of In America and I heard it was a HUGE oscar contender. Was it only a limited release? I haven't seen it around here at all!
