It's probably WAY too late, but I need that link to the trilogy tuesday thing, how much it costs, and who all's going. Thing is, I just found out that my roommate's friend forgot to get me a ticket to the midnight showing over the internet, and now they're all sold out. [Frown]

I'm supposed to be getting some cash this week, so I'm pretty sure I'll have enough for the cheapest thing available. Someone? Anyone? I'm determined to see RotK, even if it's the last thing I do!

And I wouldn't mind going with some cool people here from hatrack.

Is Jaq the new abbreviation for Jatraquero? And is it pronounced "hack"?

There is a line party, but it isn't with the EE trilogy thing because the theater wouldn't sell to clubs or something like that.

I've decided to wait until my sister arrives in town on the 20th. Though I may go to the EE viewings, if that is feasible.

SM, it is actually too late. The site said they needed the money by Nov. 26th, and that they are all sold out now.

Nate, we need to work out things with us, and with Pat and Ami. I will try to get a hold of you.

I emailed the dude 2 days ago to try to get it so I can be in the same theater with you guys. No reply as of yet, but I haven't been able to check today.

Also, I managed to get Tuesday off, so you can come over at any time and we can go down. Or, I could even pick you up, since I have nothing really better to do (warning, I am bad... and I mean HORRIBLE with directions but can manage).

Also, SM, if you want to, I'm free Wednesday during the night time, so if you still want to see it with a Jatraquero, not a problem. [Smile]

Thanks for the offer, T, but I'll be hurredly cleaning everything from the floor of my dorm room for winter checkouts. I'm heading home Thursday morning, maybe my brother and I can catch it when we stop in Denver or something. I just hope he hasn't seen it either by that time, or else it'll be a very long car ride.

*resigned* All well. I'll just have to lie when I tell my kids I saw the conclusion of the greatest trilogy since Star Wars on the very first showing. [Evil]

Oh, and those tshirts look boss:

I'm just curious about this new word. I think it's cool, and want to know how it's pronounced! Pooka, does that x make a "ks" sound or a "z" sound?

Jaqs? Eeeeew... that's the worst sounding word ever. It's the sound you'd make if you had a hairball in your throat. [Wink]

<laughs> AH! NOW I know how to pronounce it! Thanks, Tres! I hear that sound a lot! [Smile] It has sort of a German "ch" at the beginning, right?

yes, x is like the German ch or the Arabic 7. But the q is a guttural also. Like Jacques. But without the zh.

Marlozhan, UW, what are your plans?

I have talked with Pat, he has to work until 11:30, the person in charge of the event, Larry, is Pat's alternate, so he can't really take it off.

I haven't talked to Amka yet.
