I don't mean in the fighting sense. But for those of you who have seen the movie Blackbeard's Ghost, Edward Teach, "affectionately known as Blackbeard," was my favorite fictional pirate until Captain Jack Sparrow. Sparrow would probably kill Blackbeard instantaneously, but who do you all like better?

I've never seen Blackbeard's Ghost, but I'm mildly supirsed that it seems no one else on hatrack has either, or at least they have said nothing about it.

Captain Sparrow seems like quite the Pirate though, so I'm assuming he would be my favorite of the two. [Razz]

Other good movie Pirates I can think of off hand:

Captain Nemo (The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen)

Mariner (Waterworld)

The Dread Pirate Roberts (Westlie of course)

Those were all the Pirates I could think of right away.

Pirate Quotes (meaning quotes containing the word pirate)

Pirate Quotes (meaning quotes from Pirates of the Carribean)

As far as I know, Blackbeard was a real pirate, not a fictional one... [Confused]

*Sparrow runs him through*

I'm sorry, I could have phrased that better... I meant, my favorite pirates from a movie, or book. "Fictional" wasn't quite the right word to use, I agree! [Smile]

Honestly, I've got to stop with this "humor" thing. It just destroys threads!
