I got a letter from my Bishop yesterday, inviting me to be a part of a state-wide preaching academy. Apparently I was nominated by my district superintendent as a “preacher of exceptional passion.”
I’m excited. ‘Tis going to be very, very fun.
Plus it’s always good to know that the people who will be deciding your future appointments think well of your ability.

Dkw, that's great! Congratulations! I have to say, from what I've seen of you here it's no surprise that you'd get nominated for something like this.

A bit off topic, I realise I don't know anything about anyone on this forum. What do you guys do(other than post on hatrack).

I hope this won't mean you won't be available for Hatrack weddings and other religious rites. I firmly believe if DKW hasn't performed the wedding, you are just living in sin.
Will you be teaching at a preaching academy. Does this mean that you will be a Proffesor of Preaching?
If you get paid for it does that make you a Profesional Preaching Professor?
I believe its a Protestant denomination, so would you be a Professional Protestant Preaching Professor?
And since you are so well loved, will that make you a Popular Professional Protestant Preaching Professor?Posts: 11895 | Registered: Apr 2002
