Since Ender's Game is based mostly on child actors, here are my thoughts for the movie.

ENDER: Thomas Sangster
1. Great actor from the movie "Love Actually".

PETRA: Keisha Castle-Hughes
1. Girl from the movie "Whale Rider".
Great actress and great skills but she is probably too big for the part.

BEAN: Don't know his name.
1. This is a hard one. I chose the kid on this movie clip. I don't know his name and I don't know if he even speaks English but when I saw him I thought he would be perfect for Bean.

Another idea for Bean is the little kid from the Tracy Morgan show. He cracks me up.

They're making a movie out of the book? Cashing in on Peter Jackson's success, no doubt.

You know who they should get? That kid from The Phantom Menace. Or maybe the one from The Sixth Sense!

I sure hope the writer does a good job on the screenplay.

If every obscure passage that I love in that book isn't presented on screen in exactly the way that I imagine it, then OSC has sold out.

honestly, folks, it's not funny anymore.

tony, i am totally with you on the casting of petra, keisha would have been great. but yes, she is far too grown up already as it is.

I'm sorry, it may be wrong to laugh, but Slash totally made me snort.

no, i thought slash's was funny, too.
it hasn't been done before. and before. and before.
unlike the rest of those jokes, which i really don't even think applied as well since i feel the original post was valid and didn't bring up the usual newbie-esque questions.
