I can't get this song out of my head, and it always makes me think of katharina. It's a Ben Folds song, and I have altered the lyrics in one place, as they just didn't fit.
Kate She plays wipeout on the drums the squirrels and the birds come Gather around to sing the guitar Oh I...have you got nothing to say?
When all words fail she speaks Her mix tape's a masterpiece Walks through the garden so the roses can see Oh I...have you got nothing to say?
And you can see the daisies in her footsteps Dandelions, butterflies I wanna be Kate! Kate! Kate!
Everyday she wears the same thing I think she [knows a lot] She's everything I want, She's everything I'm not Oh. I... Have you got nothing to say?
She never gets wet She smiles and it's a rainbow And she speaks and she breathes I wanna be Kate! Kate! Kate!
Down by the Rosemary and Cameron She hands out the Bhagaved Gita I see her around every couple days I wanna meet her so that I can say...hey Kate
Kate! Kate!
This song just makes me happy, because it makes me think of Katie and I'm happy she's my friend.
And no, she's not paying me anything. As a matter of fact, we have to be two of the most different (from each other) friends I've ever heard of. We don't usually agree on stuff that really matters, but for some reason that DOESN'T matter so much. I think Homer Simpson said it best, "Our differences are only skin deep but are sames go all the way to the bone."
So, wanna share a song that makes you happy, or a song that reminds you of someone?

Oh.... *melts* Olivia, you are so sweet! Thank you... I love that we are friends, and I completely agree with you about our friendship.

Heh. That's so true! I'm so blessed to have you as a friend. You're absolutely wonderful. I think you see me through some serious rose-colored glasses if the song seems to fit, but I'll take it. *massive hugs*
And I have my phone with me, and will for the next couple of hours as I work late.

scott's assessment of the "Popcorn popping" song somehow got the sunbeam song stuck in my head. Thanks, scott.
Isn't it funny that no matter where you are, the sunbeams always put HEAVY annunciation on the "-beam" part of the song and jump? Always.

And I love how when they sing Little Bunny Foo-Foo they really, really pop those fieldmice on the head.
