Can you imagine the chaos and fear if something like this actually came out in the papers? Even if it was a fairly small chance, I think most people would be looking up at the sky.

I have issues with this statement. I'm not sure an act of God should be compared to an act of terrorism. Especially since there are plenty of other acts of God that have taken more lives than 9/11 that would be, I think, more appropriate comparisons.

Brian Marsden said it was a good thing they didn't call the president. We all should listen to Brian Marsden. The orbit they calculated from only TWO READINGS? Nothing like enough accuracy to go scaring anyone. We need them to listen when we have a real one incoming.

I keep waiting for a nice apocalypse. I think my attitude and skillset are best employed in a post apocalyptic wasteland type setting. I especially like the part where you fight off rabid plague zombies.
