A topic that often comes up in our discussions at work is hats. I'm fascinated by them for some reason. You can tell alot about a person by the hat they wear. For some reason Berets are the big hat with a couple of the guys I work with. I typically have been a standard ball cap guy but lately have been wearing a lot of sockies. The kids at my school all wear the head wrap thing underneath bright colored ball caps.
So, come on in and hang your hat and lets learn a little more about each other.

I don't wear hats often, but when I do, it has a certain university on it. I'll let you guess which one it is.

I usually wear an old, threadbare Appalachian State University cap, that's tan on top and sage green for the bill. My wife says it's probably time to send it on to its final reward, but dang, it's a good hat.

What ever are you talking about. Doesn't zgator like the FSU Seminoles? That's the only major team in Florida isn't it?

<--- Is a Sooner... Though we got our butts kicked at the end of last year there's always next year. I was there in 2000 though... the year Florida would like to forget...

Over ten years ago when I was a freshman at BYU, I was famous for my hats. If I wasn't at church, I was wearing a hat. I had dozens of hats, of all different types.
But when I came back to school after two years of being away I just wasn't even interested in unpacking more than a couple. I realized that I had done it to purposely be "quirky" and "interesting". I don't know why I don't feel the need to do that anymore, but I don't. I blend into the background most of the time now. Maybe I just became more secure with myself and don't need the attention anymore, or maybe I just got boring.
The hats I currently have/wear. I have a fedora that I wear when it's raining. I don't like rain in my face, but would rather wear a hat than carry an umbrella. I have flooppy cloth hat for camping/etc., a couple of baseball caps (but not for any team -- I am not a follower of sports), and one of those old-timey hats that snap on to the brim in the front.

Most hats don't fit me. Of the few that do, most don't suit me. And of the few that do, they don't make them anymore (like those tuques with big pom-poms on them that I wore when I was a kid).
Besides, hats make you bald.

I wear whatever I feel like wearing at the time. I have a light blue hat that looks like it should have a pom-pom, but doesn't. It's a skullcap although my husband insists that it's a beanie, even though there is not a single whirly-twirly on the whole thing. I have a cowboy hat that I don't wear often, and a old-guy fishing hat.
