Well, Ann Coulter came to speak at my school the other day. While I missed out on the all-too-estimable pleasure of her presence, from the accounts of my fellow students I cannot say I missed much.
My campus newspaper carried two articles on her, neither particularly flattering, one respecting her positions and one respecting her manners, giving her far more respect by their regards than her talk regarded her hosts with respect.

I had heard a lot about Ann Coulter, not very much of it flattering, but reserved judgment until I saw her on something on one of the cable news networks.
I'm afraid she came off as a spoiled child who expects everyone to accept everything she says without question just because she said it. She was rude to anyone who disagreed with her. I was not impressed.
Oh, by the way, I couldn't get either link to come up. Although I did get sound effects, presumably from an accompanying ad.

Ainsley Hayes, the character on "West Wing" a couple of seasons ago, was supposed to be a takeoff on Ann Coulter.
She is interesting, because she is very conservative, very erudite and articulate, and is a blonde, blue-eyed babe. Kind of blows your stereotypical mental image of the super conservative types.

I think if you read the articles you might notice part of the point is that she's not particularly articulate or polite.
edit: oh, if you meant ainsley, she's articulate. Of course, she has hollywood writers working for her. Not only that, but she has some key qualities that Coulter lacks, such as politeness.
