You know it had to be done. I took one look at the Thunderbirds thread and my mind immediately did a, "Thundercats, Thundercats... hoooooooo!" and the theme song just quietly followed. Of course my link doesn't have anything to show about a remake, but I think it's still cool.

Ahhh... the days of Thundercats and He-man (the original He-man) are long gone, but not forgotten.

I used to love those shows when I was a kid. But Thundercats was filled with Dippiness Factors. Something i never noticed until I started watching it again in college.
It quickly got overshadowed by anime.

Yes...
Like how Lion-O grew up but the cubs didn't.
Or how stupid the bad guys were.
You know, things in shows or books that just don't make logical sense is a dippiness factor. Or how lame something is. Or the unrealisticness of it...

The other day, I saw a quick clip of Thundercats. I was struck by how much the animation looked like the old Hobbit/Return of the King movies. I looked it up, and sure enough, the same guys did both. They did a lot of weird stuff back then, too.

This I did not know! I used to watch both with my cousin. He loved Thundercats and L of the R.

You know, neither Thundercats nor He-Man was a very good show.

Why yes, I am!

(Where's Tenchi?!?)

Seriously though, just a big Tenchi fan. [Smile]

Just to clarify, Synesthesia, they made the Hobbit and Return of the King movies. They did not make the Lord of the Rings cartoon. That was done by somebody else.
