I never completely left, it's just that I never had enough time to post on the public computers I was using.....and Jenni works two jobs, so she never had the time, period...
Now that we have a computer at home, we can post all night long, not sleep, get sick, lose our jobs, and then post all day long (until we are evicted).......just like everyone else here!
Right BoB_Scopez, TomD, etc.???
Or find jobs that don't properly supervise us, and post at work.....
It hit me recently you hadn't been around and I noticed when you resurfaced. I've been keeping my posting down a little the last few days due to some work stuff and also because I was getting very close to numero 1000 in post count and didn't have a clue what I was going to write.
It'll be up soon - I'm thinking that some of what is in the post coming up very soon will be of interest to you.

"There's no point in making a mountain out of a molehill. The important thing is that we try to be nice to each other, and the rest will follow.
Talking about "the big picture" and "greater context" just gets everyone upset, and it doesn't mean anything anyway."

Why, ClaudiaTherese, funny you should mention that. I know lots about the hierarchy of power structures - having been on both the high and low ends in different situations.

Me too, dollface. I like resisting the power hierarchy, just for the sake of resisting.
To heck with bread and circuses, to heck with diamond watches -- I gots me my muleheadedness, and that's sweeter indeed.

I do not make mountains out of molehills.
I point out very politely that others are in the process of building molehills into very large mountains - which threaten avalanches on those of us who live below.

Quite entertainingly, random factors have aligned in our favor. Some call it luck, others fate. I simply follow the voice inside this head of mine and things usually work out. Although the tinnutis I have been struggling with might make things a bit cloudy at times...
As far as polarity, I must agree. Those who study such things have claimed that the poles of the Earth have changed at least 2 or 3 times in our history as a planet, and Hatrack seems just as unpredictable!

No worries! I sort of slipped out the back door, not for any reason. Actually, school started up, that was it. (duh) I did a couple of quick lurk-bys in the past few months, but was dragged in for good again by Mister ScoPez's' allusion to a certain thread: the DKW thread. Then, there was the lyrics game thread...the one line description thread...something about food...I was hooked again!

flish is back? Do you mean fil/skillery? Because fil and filleted (flish) were different folks. Which is probably why the name change. And skillery is much more than not someone else.

Actually, I'm pretty sure I started a "where's Elizabeth" thread awhile back, and I was definitely glad to see you return. Remember, what gets posted is just the tip of the iceburg in terms of what people are thinking.

Elizabeth, I knew you were gone/back, but I was so new when you left that I didn't feel like it was my place to say anything about it, and I figured I didn't know what I was talking about anyway. Or maybe I left before you did, I can't really remember.

Thanks, Noemon and PSI T. That really means a lot. I didn't really mean that post to sound like a pity party invitation, it was more of a smarty-pants comment, but those never quite come through. I have actually been TRYING to do writing when I get on the computer, or job search stuff, but I get sucked into this Procrastinator's Dream. But it means a lot, thanks.

You should do what I did, Elizabeth, and throw your network cable away away!! My productivity went up at least a hundred percent. But I miss Hatrack...

When I think of Hatrack in the middle of the day (which I do no matter how much medication I take) for no reason at all...I think BELLE. I need to stop posting and do some reading.
No one notices when I leave but dear sweet Vana.
Love that girl.
edited because I just read Belle's post a few posts up from mine. Clarification is good.

No, Hobbes! It's the aura affect. We're close enough that our polarity simply changed along with Hatrack as a whole.
