Sorry. Couldn't make it beyond the first sentence. I'm afraid for my sanity once it got to the 'research' part of the article.

Come to think of it, though, no real research was cited by this doctor. So was he referring to some actual research?

Or is just a spirited defense because he was caught picking his nose by a colleague?

A local radio station here has a segment called "Really Stupid News." This would definitely qualify.
