Touching the Void was the most incredible thing I have seen in a very long time. And the scenery was incredible as well.

Return of the King. It's a beautiful film, even in the battle scenes...wonderfully directed and all that.

Big Fish was absolutly gorgeous. It was a strange and beautiful and touching tale with a nicely developed Tim Burton touch.

I'd have to say Return of the King too. I have issues with the scriptwriting, but Minas Tirith was just too breathtaking for words.

Whale Rider was lovely. And Return of the King, though its ending sucked, contained the most beautiful movie scene I've ever watched (the harrying of Faramir).

Lost in Translation was bizarre yet beautiful. Whale Rider was incredibly beautiful, if a little slow at times. 21 Grams was so ugly it went all the way around to beautiful.

Most beautiful films this year?

They're my top 3 - In America, Lost In Translation, and Return of the King.

All of the 3 LOTR movies were very beautifully shot....I wish I could visit NZ at least once.

I really, really wanted to see Big Fish, but my wife didn't....soooo, needless to say that we didn't....yet. [Big Grin]

Kill Bill, just because I think it had some of the most beautiful people in it, despite the blood and all.
