I'm starting to wonder ... will Sam Rockwell ever accept a role in which he is NOT revealed to be the ultimate badguy in the last act of the film? It's getting to the point at which a director could cast him as a goodguy and actually use his LACK of betrayal as a surprise twist at the end.

Sam Rockwell. The best-buddy-revealed-to-be-the-badguy in Charlie's Angels, Heist, The Green Mile, Matchstick Men, etc ...
The guy in Galaxy Quest may or may not have really been Sam Rockwell. I think he becomes a completely different person when he grows a mustache Posts: 1907 | Registered: Feb 2000

I think he's a great choice, since he seems to do sleaze real well (he also looks a lot like the original Zaphon from the BBC), but in my head, it'll always be a young Michael Caine.

I really can't see him doing anything else.
There's something about him that creeps me out and I just wouldn't be able to lose myself in a movie where he played a good guy.
