...and I can't wait to go to Europe!!

First of all, I got the latest Economist in the mail today, and the cover is *priceless*. I posted it on my website.

[ROFL]

Second of all, I can't *wait* to go hang out with the people that write and read this magazine -- I found out last week that I got into this summer study abroad program in London called Politics & Media in England. It's five weeks of seminars with members of the British media as well as government officlas -- including some interviews with MPs that take place at the House of Commons. Then I'll have a five week internship in a political or media organization. I am *so excited*! And I might get to meet pH while I'm there!

Anyone else going to be in London in June or July??

I will probably be in London the first two weeks of July and Oxford before that, since that's where I live. Send me an e-mail or aim me (my sn is AmiraTharani) if you want to meet up.

The Economist rocks, although I can't say I particularly favor that cover. Interestingly enough, I think there are actually as many people that read it in the US as there are in Europe. You just have to know the right people.

By the way, you know what initially really impressed me about The Economist? It's the only place I've ever seen the CIA advertise.

I'm hit-and-miss on The Economist, though I'm surprised to see that cover. It's a bit much, though. It made me smile rather than laugh.

Which reminds me, I'm really far behind on my accumulated issues of Harper's... so many issues to read, so many exams to (not) study for...
