Free non-virus-infected screensavers for Windows?!?
Gotta love it, I've never had a virus in six years of Mac usage... I've been using a PC for 2 days and it's the third Trojan AVG has intercepted... so where do I find a good resource to replace the crap Windows screensavers?

Windows is evil. There is no such screensaver. No matter what you do or where you go, you will be exposed to some virus. And Windows will just hold the door open and let it in.

I'm afraid that AvidReader is full of crap.
Then again, almost all screensavers are also full of crap. Why would you EVER want a screensaver, anyway? If you aren't using your computer, why would you be looking at it?
Seriously, most companies figured out a while ago that the only way to make money from the screensaver biz was to saddle the downloads with spyware and IE trojans. They're not "viruses," in the narrow sense of the word, but they're irritating and ubiquitous.
There are a few sites out there that still just let you download the files -- but most have folded, since no one clicks through on those banner ads and bandwidth costs money.

my screensaver cycles my 2 gigs of digital photos.
And tom, i would like a screen saver for when i'm playing music from my computer, but doing other things at the same time.

'Cause my computer sits in the middle of my open-plan studio apartment and is inadvertently and inescapably visible - as attractive as my desktop is, it's not particularly interesting when it's on all night and day.
