Yeah, so, remember that hard-edged scifi surf rock band I talked about in my "3 bands" thread?
No? Well, just assume you have, then.
Anyway, I went to the Einstein exhibit at the Museum of Science in Boston. I've always had a minor hero-worshipping thing for the goofy German; even if I can only barely grok the rudimentaries of his theories. The exhibit was decent, but very repetitive, which was okay in a way. "The Way" being the intellectual equivalent to put hammering a square beg into a round hole, that is.
This is all besides the point.
My _real_ point is to mention to people who may see this exhibit (and it's a traveling exhibit, so you may see it at some point in a museum near you!), that there is a small time-travel/scifi movie video montage. Shows all the staples, and a healthy amount of blips from the 50s and 60s. What caught my attention, however, was the hard-edged surf rock emanating from it... With scifi movie sound clips interspersed. I turned to my girlfriend and said, "You know that surf rock band I listen to? That sounds like it might be Man or Astro-man?!"
I was right; the verification was on a not immediately apparent panel that listed the movie clips and the music's source.
