Other dude's "The Kiss" (sorry, this website didn't say whose they were either) Scroll down to the fifth image, right after the one that looks like the cover of Enchantment
So is the nude one sexier? I find the golden blanket image to be more intimate.

I like them both enormously. Rodin is among my favorite sculptors, and Klimt is among my favorite painters.

Maybe it's the architect in me... Yeah, that's probably is (though his sculpture of the same isn't bad at all).

And for the record , even if no one wondered, Rodin's piece was first (1886-1887), with Klimt and Brancusi finishing their originaly pieces around the same time (1907-1908).

AW, that's probably one of the better abstract "Kiss" works I have seen. Most of the ones I stumbled across in my searches were just... disthetic is a word I made up to describe art that strives to be unattractive. I think the more technical term is "crap". Though I guess they are trying to capture how a kiss feels or what you see if you have your eyes open.

Hmm. I really like Rodin, I absolutely ADORE Klimpt, and both of these pieces are really nice; quite a tough choice. I'd have to agree with you in the end, pooka; I think the Klimpt piece is the more intimate of the two.
Not that I have any non-subjective ways of saying WHY.
