I admit I may be biased since I'm the one who started the original thread in the first place but...
I really miss this thread. It was great seeing how much everyone was appreciated or cherished, as well as the unique reasons why for each person. That and... well, I just plain liked seeing people smile or feeling better about themselves.
So... The rules of the game are that one person is nominated "Jatraquero of the Day" and then the rest of us get to say what it is we like about them. You can even just pop in a "Yay! I love ____ !" or some such post with your choice of appropriate smilies (a smiley-exemption is, of course, available to Papa Moose ). Whatever you post, though, it has to be nice. It's like those silly little "I like ____ because they ____ " games you did at the end of the year in elementary school. Anyway, at the end of the day, the jatraquero of the day (or someone else if they're not available) nominates someone for the next day.
Now, last time we did this we had a bunch of overlapping because of multiple nominations, etc. I think it might be better to have 2 or 3 days for each person because of that, but I'll leave it up to you guys and, once something's decided, I'll change this post to say just how long each person's time as jatraquero of the day/s will last.

Oh, and I nominate Amira as the first Jatraquero of the Day.
She's become a dear friend of mine over the past year or so and I wouldn't trade her for anything. She's helped me through so much - we've laughed together, swapped stories, and she's always been there for me to an extent that simply astounds me. So, yes: Big hugs to you, hun. 'Love you much, and I hope to catch you online soon!
