The day is Monday, 31 May 2004.

9:02 pm - Leave apartment with plate of cookies.

9:03 pm - Arrive at friend's apartment with said cookies. Get a drink.

9:44 pm - Begin Spirited Away. Drink is long gone.

11:42 pm - Finish movie. Decide I like Princess Mononoke better.

11:58 pm - Leave friend's apartment without plate of cookies.

11:59 pm - Arrive home.

12:08 am - Sit on couch with class reading and "Star Trek: Voyager" on the television for background noise.

12:36 am - Realize "Voyager" is distracting me. Do not care.

1:15 am - "Voyager" over, sit at computer and type reaction paragraph. Unbenounced to me, boys downstairs begin movie.

1:45 am - Put on pj's and go to bed. Drift off.

3:20 am - Am rudely awoken to loud rumbling and yelling. Think a mob is forming in streets. Do not care. Roll over and try to sleep.

3:21 am - Suddenly realize that said yelling and rumbling was the charge of the Rohirrim. Hear horns blowing.

3:29 am - Eowyn kills Witch-King

3:59 am - "The Ring is mine!"

4:04-4:06 am - Destruction of Mordor

4:12 am - Aragorn becomes King

4:15 am - Realize no more loud noises will come. Sleep.

7:30 am - Am rudely jolted awake for no reason. Realize I can sleep more. Do so.

9:00 am - Alarm blares. Stumble out of bed, turn off alarm.

9:02 am - Realize that alarm off means no snooze. Do not care. Doze.

9:52 am - Sit up in bed. See clock. Run to get ready for 10:20 am class.

10:16 am - Arrive at class. Proceed to be bored out of mind.

Not a bad life....

Mines similar, so I'll share it. Sorry I'm ripping of your idea, Carrie...

9:00 pm Get home from singing lesson, intending to write essay.

9:01 pm Discover sister watching HHGTTG.

9:30 pm Start essay.

2:10 am Finish essay.

2:20 am Essay finally prints after ten hairraising minutes of uncertainty.

2:30 am Go to bed.

2:55 am too hungry to sleep, eat two cheesestrings from fridge, while avoiding rampaging cat.

3:00 am Sleep.

7:00 am Wake up, not wanting to go to school. Go back to sleep.

7:35 am go to England, Cornwall most specifically. Climbing on cliffs and beaches near sea.

7:36 am in America, at some sort of carnival, where a group is performing "Step in Time" from Mary Poppins. Security is heavy, but subtle.

7:39 am go into a store to by a drink, when come out a security guard says: "Who's that?" A higher up person says "That's Victoria, she went in" (meaning I went in the store).

7:42 am realise with a flash of light that I am in my own futuristic science fiction-ary America-metaphor where although the carnival goes on apparantly oblivious, the prescence of security is huge.

7:43 am Discover can of coke that I bought is empty. Symbolically, I might add.

7:45 am Wake up again.

Do I need to say that the essay I was writing was about omens, metaphors symbols and similies? ARG!

EDIT: However, I did sleep- I didn't actually go to a science fictionary America...
